Important Travel Note: Weather, Flights & Itinerary Flexibility
Travel in the Himalayas is an unforgettable experience, but mountain conditions can sometimes be unpredictable. Even with careful planning, your Annapurna Circuit Trek may be affected by circumstances beyond anyone’s control.
At Abhiwadan Expedition Holidays, we understand that these unexpected situations can be stressful. Our team will stay with you throughout the process, explain the situation clearly, and help arrange the safest and most practical solution.
Flight Delays & Cancellations
Domestic and international flights in Nepal can sometimes be delayed or cancelled because of poor visibility, heavy rain, snowfall, strong winds, fog, technical issues, air traffic, or other operational reasons.
If a flight is delayed or cancelled, we will help you understand the available options and assist with alternative arrangements where possible. Any additional costs resulting from flight cancellations, extra accommodation, meals, or alternative transportation are generally the traveler's responsibility unless otherwise agreed.
Mountain Weather & Trail Conditions
Weather in the Himalayas can change quickly. Heavy snowfall, rainfall, strong winds, fog, landslides, avalanches, icy trails, road blockages, or sudden changes in mountain conditions may affect the trekking route.
If a section of the trail becomes unsafe, our guide may recommend changing the route, adjusting the walking schedule, staying an additional night, or using alternative transportation. We will always prioritize your safety over keeping to a fixed timetable.
Road Delays & Transportation Changes
The Annapurna region includes mountain roads where conditions can change because of landslides, construction, monsoon rainfall, traffic, road damage, or other natural events. Transportation may therefore take longer than expected or occasionally need to be changed.
Our team will make the best possible arrangements based on the conditions at the time.
Health & Altitude
High-altitude trekking requires patience and careful attention to your health. If a trekker experiences altitude sickness, exhaustion, injury, or another health concern, the itinerary may need to be changed for safety.
Our guides will monitor the situation and recommend appropriate action, which may include resting, descending to a lower elevation, changing the itinerary, or arranging emergency assistance when necessary.
Keep 1–2 Extra Days
We strongly recommend keeping one or two spare days in your Nepal travel schedule, especially if you have an international flight shortly after completing the trek.
If everything goes smoothly, your extra days become a bonus—you can explore Kathmandu, enjoy Thamel, visit cultural sites, shop for souvenirs, or simply relax after your Himalayan adventure.
Our Promise to You
We cannot control the weather, flights, roads, or mountains—but we can control how we respond to them.
At Abhiwadan Expedition Holidays, we will communicate honestly, support you throughout unexpected situations, and make decisions with your safety, comfort, and overall experience in mind.
The Himalayas don't always follow our timetable—and that's part of the adventure. Your itinerary may change, but our commitment to your safety never will.

Services and history
We started as a statement against the sloppy professional standards that dominated the field of construction services 20 years ago. We wanted to set a new, high standard and work as consultants, solving our client's problems.
The company quickly grew and cemented itself as the new golden standard in commercial construction. Today we continue to build on that legacy and strive for excellence in everything we do.
People and culture
Our people are what make us unique. Rather than outsourcing our construction engineers from questionable outsourcing establishments, we provide them with an environment that supports professional growth.
We are strong believers in giving our employees a voice. Our teams are put together with the help of our resident psychologist to ensure maximum productivity and engagement.
